Experience
Hanne has extensive experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, addressing legal challenges related to new services and products, and collaborating closely with experts from various fields.
Her prior experience as an in-house counsel provides Hanne with a strong understanding of business needs, enabling her to deliver clear and practical legal advice.
As a lawyer, Hanne has also handled various regulatory oversight tasks and has experience in regulatory and supervisory processes, as well as negotiations with authorities. Additionally, she is well-versed in tasks related to influencing legislation and regulatory environments.
Hanne is an experienced speaker and regularly presents at both domestic and international academic and professional events.
In addition to holding a Finnish bar examination qualification, Hanne has completed judicial training, earning her the honorary title of varatuomari (trained on the bench).
Research and Association Activities
Hanne is preparing her doctoral dissertation on accountability issues in automated administrative decision-making, a project that also involves study of AI regulation.
In connection with her ongoing research, Hanne has worked as a researcher and visiting researcher at the University of Helsinki’s Legal Tech Lab and the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen.
Since 2023, Hanne has been a board member of the Finnish IT Law Association.
